- 2018 – Heritage Association of San Marcos – Community Member of the Year
- 2010 – Honored for years of service to Leadership San Marcos, including 5 years as executive director, two terms as president, and numerous years as secretary, newsletter editor, bylaws chair, and more
- 2010 – Named by the Hays County Area Food Bank Board as “Turkey of the Decade for her willingness to sacrifice precious time and personal dignity for the campaign above and beyond the call of duty” in regards to the annual Turkeys Tackling Hunger fundraiser. This is because I wore a turkey costume to various events to promote the fundraiser.
