I am a native of San Marcos (born in Buda, got to San Marcos 3 days later!) I lived in the San Marcos area all my life except from 1981-1986 when I worked in Dallas area. I couldn’t wait to get home!
I want to thank my parents, who raised me with the concept that public service is a good thing. I’ve spent most of my life trying to make things better for others, through my 33 years at Texas State University and over 35 years of community and public service to others.
